Our Story
At The Skills Spot, we exist to empower young people aged 16 to 30 to lead thriving adult lives.
We started as part of LDN Apprenticeships, with a shared commitment to helping young people unlock their potential. As the need for more holistic and community-rooted support became clear, we launched The Skills Spot as an independent Community Interest Company in 2022. Since then, we’ve continued to grow into a trusted space for young people in South London to explore their goals and shape their futures.
We believe in a future where every young person has the skills, confidence and connections to live a life of purpose, aspiration and balance. Through our youth space, mentoring, and events, we support young people at all stages of their journey - whether they’re building resilience, job hunting, or simply figuring out their next step.
Rooted in our local community, we’re proud to work in collaboration with individuals, businesses, and other youth organisations. We build bridges where systems fall short and celebrate every win, big or small.

We exist to empower young people to lead thriving adult lives by developing the essential skills needed in work and life.
To achieve this, we provide a space where young people feel safe to explore their aspirations, support for young people to develop the skills they need for work and life and events and workshops that enable young people to build their network and grow their social capital.
